OFDM-IM Sisteminde SLM Yöntemini Kullanarak Tepe Gücü/Ortalama Güç Oranının Düşürülmesi

İndis modülasyonlu dikgen frekans bölmeli çoğullama (OFDM-IM) sistemi yüksek spektral verimlilik, esneklik ve taşıyıcılar arası girişime karşı bağışıklık gibi üstün özellikleri ile öne çıkmaktadır. Fakat OFDM-IM sisteminde tepe gücü/ortalama güç oranı (PAPR) problemi bulunmaktadır. Yüksek PAPR, kuvvetlendiricilerinin doğrusal olmaması durumunda, iletilen sinyali bozarak sistem performansını olumsuz etkilemektedir. Bu makalede, sistemde oluşan PAPR’ ı seçici eşleme (SLM) yöntemi kullanılarak düşürmek hedeflenmektedir. Bilgisayar simülasyon sonuçları kullanılan SLM yönteminin, orijinal sisteme kıyasla PAPR değerini önemli ölçüde düşürdüğünü göstermektedir. Ayrıca alt taşıyıcı sayısı, faz rotasyon faktörü modülasyon indisi parametrelerindeki değişiminin sistemin performansına etkisi de incelenerek değerlendirmeler yapılmıştır.
